Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) number in Bali keeps growing amidst current economic low season.
As quoted by local newspaper Radar Bali, Bali local office of Small Medium Enterprise until May 2007 had registered not less than 36,500 formal SMEs and 130,000 informal SMEs in trade, agricultural and non-agriculture industry. Whose numbers are taken from all regencies in Bali.
The local office have been endeavoring several important key factors to further boost this number, such as, exhibitions, business meetings among entrepreneurs, socialization of available soft loans either from bank, state enterprises (BUMN), koperasi (cooperation body) or village loans body (LPD).
The local office also actively assists guidance in fulfilling the required conditions, balance sheet and other paperworks.
